I believe Doll Collectors, Doll Makers, and Doll Enthusiasts are very Intelligent, Happy, and Special People.
As a young girl, for Christmas I always wanted a new Doll and I could hardly wait until we could open our presents, the smell of the new vinyl, her bright, shiny hair. But after a while mother would give the doll away to little girls that didn't have any. I missed my dolls, but mother was right.
When I grew up, doll shows were a must go to! I started collecting, and hoping to find that favorite doll of mine when I was little girl. My attention changed when I started to notice these Antique French and German Dolls, WOW! What a different, stunning look.
Then I found the most wonderful little Doll Shop in the world, Lindolley's, in Tulsa where I lived at the time. I started taking Doll Making Classes and went on to get my Instructors Certifications through Seeley's Doll Artisan Guild.
Now, after retiring from my work in Dentistry after 23 years, my Husband and I have built a Wonderful little Victorian Doll Studio, nestled beneath the trees down Liska Lane where we live in the country between Cabot and Lonoke Arkansas, Just 30 miles east of North Little Rock on I-40.
Dreams do come true!
